The True Christmas Story: Told in a child friendly form.

The real Christmas was not about Santa Claus. The true story of Christmas will fill your heart with such joy that only the truth can give.

Long time ago in the Bible land of Jerusalem, Almighty God fulfilled the promise He had made hundreds of years ago. God had promised to send a Savior into the world to save mankind from the consequences of sin that resulted from the fall of our first parents, Adam and Eve. When God created the first man and woman, Adam, and his wife, Eve, they did not listen to God’s instruction not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil which was in the middle of the Garden of Eden. Satan the old serpent deceived the first couple to disobey God’s instruction, promising them that they would become like God themselves, with the ability to know both good and evil. After Adam and his wife ate the forbidden fruit they instead felt entrapped by fear. They felt guilty inside and went to hide from God. From then on, all mankind became like Adam and Eve, enslaved to fear and meanness. God felt sorry for what man had brought upon himself, and promised to send a Savior into the world that would redeem mankind from living a life without God.

God chose to send His Son, Jesus, into the world as a new baby that would be born by a virgin, a young girl who had never been with a man. God’s people waited for the promise a very long time. In the meanwhile they continued to suffer from the consequences of the sin of Adam and Eve. People were killing each other and doing all sorts of other bad things to each other.

After hundreds of years, God sent the promised Savior into the world just like he had said. A young girl was alone in her room one night when an angel of God appeared to her. He greeted her with much kindness and told her that God had chosen her to be the mother of the Savior of the world. The girl expressed her wonder on how she could become a mother without being married. The angel explained to her that her Son would be called the “Son of God”, because He would be conceived through the power of God. The young girl, Mary, surrendered to the will of God. She said to the angel, “I am God’s creature, let His will be done in my life”. After a while, Mary was found to be expecting a child. Can you imagine what that meant for Mary and her family?

After the baby was born, wise men came from the East to worship the new born baby whom they referred to as a King .They said they had seen His star in the East, and had followed it to find and pay homage to the new born King.

Jesus the Savior grew like any other child, living with His parents and helping them until the time came for Him to fulfill His mission.

God bless you as you put your trust in God’s Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, for your salvation, amen.

Christmas Event: A major Change in the World that has not Changed.
On December 25, 2016, like any other year, Christians all over the world will celebrate and mark an event that has permanently shaped the world and made the world a better place. Even those who do not embrace Christianity accept that it is a significant event in human history. However, the date on which we celebrate this unique occasion has been dogged with controversies. Incidentally, attacks on the date are coming from those who identify themselves as Christians. There are historical discoveries and arguments that the dates in which Christmas and Easter are celebrated may not necessarily be the exact dates of these events. Some of these dates may have also been linked to some form of pagan celebrations. This could be true as well. However, Christmas and Easter mark events that actually happened, and are important in human history. No one has been able to prove that Jesus Christ was never born, or that He did not die and resurrect. The disagreement over the actual dates in which the events occurred is just by the way. I have not been privileged to travel to Israel to see the place and possible locations of these events in Bethlehem and at Golgotha. If I have the opportunity, it is a place I plan to visit to reinforce my faith before the second coming of our Lord Jesus. Those who have visited the locations came with the assurance that all the events surrounding Jesus of Nazareth are no fictions but events that took place.
However, there is a problem with putting our faith on dates, rather than on the real event that changed the course of history. This is what Paul, the apostle described as weak and beggarly elements for which the beloved brothers and sisters in the Galatian church got entangled with. The apostle told the Church, “Indeed, when you did not know God, you served those which by nature are not gods. But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be in bondage? You observe days and months and seasons and years. I am afraid for you, lest I have labored for you in vain. (Gal 4:9-11). So, when we troop out on Christmas and Easter days in celebration, we are not celebrating the dates but we rather remember that the joy we have as believers in the world today was founded on these two events. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By His great mercy, He has given us new birth into a living hope through the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead; and has given us an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, reserved in heaven for us. These two events occurred for only one major reason – That the GOD and Creator of the Universe LOVES you and me. The love that makes the whole difference in the world is linked with these events.
For many centuries, and since the destruction of the first world with the flood, the existence of humanity has been laced with searching for God. The person, personality, and deity of God has been a major challenge. The human knowledge of God is blurred by sin and the devil’s distortions. Adam and Eve knew they were created by God and not only this, they had a close fellowship with God. They knew how loving God was to them, but they also understood that God was a consuming fire, and against all manner of ungodliness. So, when they wronged God, they were afraid, and ran away for cover. But it is not possible to hide from God. The aggravated sins in the world led to God destroying the first world, saving only Noah and his family. It is not too clear why God spared Noah but since creation, God had always chosen individuals who know and reverence Him for His own purposes. There are examples: We know Enoch walked with God, and he was taken away without dying. A notable man in the history of the world is Abraham who God brought from his native home and settled him in the Middle East, in a portion known as Canaan. Abraham was the founding father of Israel, a most blessed nation in the world. So, we do not know all the facts why God chose these people for all He used them for. He is a sovereign God and He owes us no explanations or apology for whatever He chooses to do. The question God asked Job when Job appeared distraught in his pains is an eye opener to the sovereignty of God. God asked Job, “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding.” Job, like any other man had no answer to this question. When Moses, who led the Jewish exodus from Egypt sought to know who God was, God told him, “I am who I am”. That was God’s introduction of Himself. He is God.
The separation of humanity from God resulting from our disobedience and sin has made our understanding of God more difficult than it was at the beginning. The seeming lack of knowledge of God has created a vacuum and an identity crisis in humanity; and in an attempt to understand and reach out to God, multiple channels to find God known as religions were created. Earlier, the human race had depended on animal sacrifice to appease God for their sins but the blood of animals was not effective to take away human sins. God, however, did not abandon His creations made in His likeness and image. He had prepared the channel through which He would reunite with them. God’s path to do this was the plan of salvation, not only to get humanity back to Him but also to rid them of disobedience and sins which had separated them from God. So, God sent His Son through the lineage of Abraham to come into the world to redeem humanity once and for all from the curse of sin. Prophet Isaiah announced to the world: “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice. From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this”. (Isa 9: 6-7). This was the origin of Christmas, when Jesus was born.
And at the due time, an angel of the Lord appeared to the shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night and stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.” (Luke 2: 8-12). At this time, there was jubilation both in heaven and on earth. There was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”. The struggle to find and know God the Creator, thus came to an end. Jesus came not only to save us from sins but as a replica of God, to show us who God is. Christmas day was therefore the day when the hope of humanity was fulfilled. It was the best news ever spoken on earth – Christ the Savior is born.
When John the Baptist, and forerunner of salvation in the world saw him, he declared, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! This is He of whom I said, ‘After me comes a Man who is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ (John 1:29). And John, the beloved disciple wrote: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. John further testified: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
Jesus was offered as the only perfect sacrifice for sins forever. But confusion still pervades the world as humanity keeps getting deceived by Satan, and rather than accepting the only sacrifice of God’s Son, people have continued to perform the old sacrifices that are no longer required. In their bid to reach God, people have engulfed in various forms of idolatry. Satan has made it difficult for people to believe that only one way leads to God. And the question still remains how many ways are there to reach God? I recall someone ask the question, “do you think all billions of non-Christians all over the world will go to hell?” It is distressing but, that unfortunately is the truth, and the answer is yes. Salvation from hell is not through religion but faith in Christ Jesus. God cannot do more to show us His love than the perfect sacrifice of His only begotten Son who died that we may live. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6). To another disciple who asked Him to show them the Father, Jesus responded: “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves”.
As we celebrate Christmas therefore, we must understand that it is not about the date nor about us; it is about Jesus Christ, it is about the love of God for humanity, it is about the salvation of our souls. There is no other way to see God as is being canvassed by the agents of Satan, than through Jesus Christ. Peter who was among the disciples of Jesus Christ, and a firsthand witness declared with emphasis: “There is no salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12). Also John the beloved, who was also a firsthand witness said: “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life— the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us— that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. (1 John 1:1-2). Jesus told the Jews, “No one has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father. Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.
The confusion rocking the world and the Church today is the issue of purportedly many ways lead to God. This has led to errors in the teaching of the gospel. And many eloquent privileged world teachers have occupied our spaces leading many people astray both in and outside the church. They teach that all of us worship the same God in different forms, Allah for Moslems, Jesus for Christians, and others; and that all these religions lead to God. Some teachers of Islam and Christianity have developed a novel idea of Christlam religion in which Moslems and Christians can worship together to the same God. It is a marriage of convenience devoid of the basic truths of scripture and has no place in the Kingdom of our God. The Pastors, Bishops, or Clergies who teach that Christians and Muslims worship the same God are clearly in error in their judgements because no one comes close to Jesus in appearance or character. Christlam religion is therefore a pervasion of the truth. The origin of Christlam which is credited to Nigeria was to unite the Muslims and Christians in which the Bible and the Koran are viewed as equal, and the worship of Allah or God are regarded as the same. Significant addition to the error is equating Jesus Christ to Moses, Muhammad, Ibrahim, etc., as prophets of God. The fundamental error in this movement is that much as we strive for unity and tolerance among the religious groups of the world and in particular, Islam and Christianity; there is the critical difference that cannot be reconciled. The true account of Jesus Christ is that He is the SON of GOD. Once this belief is removed, Christianity loses its meaning and its foundation.
It is hard for any Muslim to accept that Jesus is the Son of God. The moment a Muslim comes to this fact and accepts it, he or she has crossed to the other side of life with true salvation in Jesus Christ. Muslims simply abhor the fact of God having a son. But twice in the Bible God specifically confirmed who Jesus is. When John the Baptist performed the baptism for Jesus, and as Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” (Mat 3:16-17). Also at the transfiguration, while Jesus was speaking with His disciples, a cloud came and overshadowed them; and they were fearful as they entered the cloud. And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!” Luke 9:34-35. If God said it, then, it is true. The history of His birth clearly stated that Mary, His earthly mother was a virgin and never experienced any sexual relationship with any man when she was conceived with the baby Jesus. All accounts about the birth of Christ showed that no man claimed responsibility for the pregnancy but only God. The stupidity of human heart leads to the question and the thought that God must act like us to achieve any result. We forget that only by the spoken word of God the world came into being. “Let there be, and it was”. I am eagerly waiting for the day all of us in the world, Muslim, Christians, and others would accept that Jesus is the Son of God, and accept the salvation given by Him and through Him, then, we would have a changed world ready for the reappearance of Jesus Christ to take us all to heaven. Without this, all the efforts of American religious leaders in the name of “Faith Shared”, Interfaith Alliance and Human Rights First, Christian Science or even Christlam are mere wasteful exercise that will not change human destiny.
In this Christmas 2016, we are thankful to God in America that we can confidently say, ‘Merry Christmas again’ courtesy of the President – Elect. Christmas is not just a holiday, it is about Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. Jesus is the reason for Christmas. If you remove Christ from Christmas, you are left with “mas”, which has no meaning. If there was any news the world had ever received, the best has remained the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a day of MERRY and HAPPY CHRISTMAS to all of us.

The Easter Story

The story of God’s plan to save man began at Christmas, and ends in Easter.

After the Savior boy became a man, He began to do a lot of wonderful things called Miracles. The first miracle that Jesus performed was that of turning water into wine. At a marriage feast where their drink had ran out, Jesus’ mother called on Him to help them. He asked the servants to fill the pots with water and serve the guests. The master of ceremony after drinking said that this was a better wine than the one they had before. After this, He went on to heal a lot of sick people, and even raised some who had died, making them to come alive again. In all His miracle working, Jesus did not draw attention to Himself, but told the people that God His father had given Him the power to do all these miracles so that they could believe Him to be the Savior that God had promised.

A lot of ordinary folk believed in Jesus and followed Him, but the religious leaders of the day did not believe that Jesus was the long awaited Savior. They were filled with envy and jealousy because of how people flocked to listen to Jesus. They began to look for a way to kill Him. Jesus knew that the purpose for which He came into the world was to die as a sacrifice for the sins of the whole world, fulfilling the words that He had spoken from God, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.”(John 3:16, Holy Bible).

The wicked religious leaders not knowing that they were fulfilling the purpose for which God sent His Son into the world, went ahead to arraign Him before the governor, accusing Him of calling Himself the Son of God, making Himself equal with God. The governor, after examining Jesus, told His accusers that he did not find any fault with Him. He wanted to let Him go but the religious leaders and their mob shouted insistently that He should be crucified. The governor gave in to their wish, and Jesus was nailed on the cross. While He hung on the cross, He cried with a loud voice, “It is finished”, before giving up the ghost, declaring that He had completed the work of saving mankind from the consequence of sin, a forever life in the fires of hell.

The most amazing thing about Easter, is that after Jesus died on the cross and was buried,

He rose again from the dead on the third day, showing His power over death. He was seen by His disciples, and over five hundred of His followers at one instance, before being lifted up into heaven. He has promised to return to the earth again to take His children home, and also to judge the world.

Now, all who believe in Jesus and accept Him as their Savior and Lord will no longer go to hell when they die, but will instead have an everlasting life of joy and peace in heaven where God is.

If you would like to have this eternal life, repent of your life without God, and ask the Lord Jesus to come into your heart and help you live for Him. He will come into your heart at your invitation, and will write your name in His book of life. As a result, you will be translated from a life that naturally ends in hell, to a life of bliss in heaven with God and His holy angels.

This is the true story of Christmas and Easter. And this is why there is so much joy in the air at Christmas, because Christmas is really about God’s love for us and about His hands stretched out to save us.

God bless you as you put your trust in God’s Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, for your salvation, amen.

The world is still trying to process the outcome of the United States presidential election which threw up Donald J Trump as the president-elect and leader of the most powerful nation on earth come January 20, 2017; and God willing, for the next four years. The political pundits are at a loss on what went right or what went wrong. Most sections of the press worldwide and renowned political poll geniuses have lost credibility as a result of the turn of event. Some prophets have now been confirmed false prophets as it’s been proved they had not heard anything from God. Some sections of the American populace who were set for the celebration rally of Hilary’s victory that never was, took to the streets and turned their planned victory match into protests against the outcome of the election. I listened to one of the young protesters, saying: “We were watching the results, it was coming out good until suddenly, it changed…. And that is why we are protesting” Some have alleged that it was rigged. By who? The United States Electoral body? Or by the Obama administration? Who rigged the election? Thank goodness, the electoral college issue is not new to the US election system. But more than that is the fact that no one really knows what happened in this election.
The president-elect, himself does not know. When he was interviewed by Lesley Stahl on the CBS News 60 minutes on November 13, 2016, he thought his campaign efforts did the magic. As much as I understand that he campaigned vigorously, Hilary Clinton also did the same in her campaign. So, it is not about the campaign, the rhetoric in the campaigns, or the good and the ugly things that came out to the public during the campaign; the victory of Donald J Trump beats all explanations and only God has the answer to what happened. Steve Strang, founder and president of Charisma Media, said, “It’s an absolute modern-day miracle that Donald Trump, who never served in the military and never held an elected office, was elected over 17 very qualified opponents in the Republican Primary and beat the Clinton machine. Clearly, something is happening spiritually. As I’ve written before, I believe that God is answering our prayer by raising up this leader. Wallnau said he’s like Cyrus, an unbelieving king God used to rescue His people”.
The fact of life is that most of us have no time to ponder over various life events; those that happened to us, or to those we know or to those we do not know. If we do, it would probably reduce the arrogance in our hearts to know that we are limited in our understanding, in our capacity and our power. Humanity is limited to the extent to which God would allow us to go. You cannot have it all your way without the permission of God. As a matter of fact, Satan cannot do anything in the world without God’s permission. He afflicted Job but only with the permission of God and to the extent to which he was permitted by God. I counsel that everyone in our society, big, small, rich or poor; Christian, Muslim, or Atheists recognize God and acknowledge Him when we plan our agendas. Isaiah, the prophet in his book (40:17), said, “All the nations are as nothing before him, they are accounted by him as less than nothing and emptiness”. David said, “Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God” (Psa. 62:11); and Peter echoed same when he said, “For all power belongs to God, now and forever. Amen”. (1 Pet 5:11). We are therefore inconsequential before God. Paul warned, “For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.” (Gal. 6:3).
Truly, Americans are divided. But the division was not caused by Donald Trump. We were divided long before Trump thought of taking a shot at the elections. We were divided before Obama got to the White House. Actually, the division in America aided Obama to become president. Satan is the author of divisions and he uses it to further his kingdom on earth. Like Donald Trump is a product of political division in America, so also was Obama in 2008 and 2012. I appreciate where we are coming from with our agitations and fears. The silent protesters and those on the streets of America protesting the election of Trump are worried about their personal interests. The gay community is worried that a Trump government may come up with policies that would render their same sex unions illegal. But Trump in his recent interview said, if your union was legalized by the court, it will be okay. Let me state clearly here that Christians are not forcing anyone including the gays to embrace righteousness. Salvation cannot be enforced, neither can righteousness be legislated. But the Christians are saying, we will not allow you to take our freedom away from us. You will not force on us at the expense of our faith to accept your lifestyle. This is where we have differences. Everyone is allowed to do what they want to do within the jurisdiction of the law but you cannot use the liberty of your rapport with the president to coerce us to do your bidding. You can do your union ceremonies but don’t coerce our clergymen who do not accept to be part of your ceremony. The gay activists are prepared under the Obama government to enslave the rest of us to accept their lifestyle as right; this is crossing the red line. We are already in America in which a Mayor demanded to sensor sermons before it is preached; that is a nation heading the way of Sodom and Gomorrah. It is certainly a nation at the verge of becoming communist where the state becomes overbearing on its citizens.
There are others whose protests are based on immigration and some for the free lunches provided by the present administration. Donald Trump had never said he would deport everybody but those who are in America illegally and are involved in criminal activities. The president elect even has an idea of the average number of such category of people. Do you fall in the category of illegal criminal immigrants? If your answer is yes, I don’t blame you for becoming afraid; you should be afraid. Also, I understand the sentiments of people who have been encouraged not to work by the welfare system which has become abused. Some individuals don’t want to work and have several free phones paid with tax payers money. When you visit the groceries, the people with heavily loaded carts are people who have access to government free largess. In most cases, some of the grocery end up in the trash because it is free. The liberal policies are similar to the caliphate’s where the leaders feed you as long as you are subservient to them. But that is not the will of God for us. God wants everyone to be free and eat what they like through their hard work. Our founding fathers initiated welfare policies borne out of Christian love to take care of the poor and needy among us. We will always have the poor but we are not taking care of them for political enslavement but rather as a way of letting them know that God is good and God loves them. The point is that our belly should not come before God in our decisions.
However, we must understand that Donald Trump no matter how much he tries cannot satisfy all demands because some of them are actually not legitimate. Some of the demands are contrary to our values. Our values as a nation from our founding are righteousness and not the definition of values the Obama administration recently invented. We are God’s own country and God’s heritage and no one should use other cultures to redefine and divide us. All those in the American government’s security system or within the American civil service who love Middle Eastern culture or Islamic values can extend their services to the governments in those parts of the world but cannot change our culture to reflect those. We love our Judeo-Christian culture and believe it to be the best. We have come to the place where we have to revisit the history of the founding of this great enterprise called America. The founders were Christians and the founding articles were based on the Bible, the Christians guidebook and article of Faith. Our present democracy was formulated within the same ideology of the Christian faith. All these claims and assumptions can be verified from the founding documents of America. There is no house that can stand without a Foundation. The Foundation of America is Christianity. We are not a nation of no identity or culture. We are a nation deliberately and strategically built on Judeo-Christian culture. The first Amendment talked about the government not siding with the establishing of any religion or having a state religion, referring to denominations such as Catholic, Quakers, Calvinists, or Baptists. The American founding fathers were speaking within the framework of Christian Catholicism, and Protestantism, and not other religions like Islam, Hinduism and so on. It is therefore important that we re-establish unequivocally the fact that America is a Christian nation. Even if we have backslidden over the years through wrong and misdirected leadership, the United States of America is distinctly a Christian nation.
Satan has always taken advantage of the open arms of God and His people to not only come into the house but seek to dominate the culture of God with his own culture. The culture of Satan is based on the sin of pride and disobedience, and he intends to foist his culture on the landscape built by God. The open arms of God exhibited by the founding fathers makes America a welcoming nation to all people to taste the love of God and not to import strange culture to destroy the hosts. Our God is the God of the whole earth. He loves everyone, and wants everyone to be a part of His family. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” This is essentially the basis of the Christian faith. The fact that American founding fathers were a welcoming people did not suggest that they wanted people to come and change the nation’s foundation, or worse still destroy our own Christian foundation and replace it with theirs. The pilgrims left Europe where they were persecuted for their Christian faith to found America where they could worship God freely and practice their Christian faith without coercion. It is important that this distinction be made clear to all and sundry so that we can continue to be that beacon of hope and freedom to the whole world. Presently, people are no longer mindful of the open arms, rather they are exploiting the naïve ideas of subsequent American leaders to fraudulently insert things that were not part of the original intentions of the founders, to our daily lives. This is why Americans must be careful in appointing into sensitive positions, individuals who do not subscribe to our founding ideology as a Christian nation.
One of president Obama’s appeal to the electorate while campaigning for Hilary Clinton was the preservation of his legacy. Really? What legacy? Homosexual laws or abolishing of Christian prayers in the White House? Sometimes, we fail to consider that as we do to others, others will also do to us. President Obama did not respect the legacy of the founding fathers of America but he wants his legacy to be upheld. Power is transient, and only the power of God is permanent and absolute. Probably, the president might be familiar with the story of King Nebuchadnezzar of the Babylon empire of fame. While Nebuchadnezzar was walking about the royal palace of Babylon, he spoke, saying, “Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?” But while he was still talking, a voice fell from heaven: “King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: the kingdom has departed from you! And they shall drive you from men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. They shall make you eat grass like oxen; and seven times shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses.” (Dan 4:29-36). God ‘s gracious and awesome power returned sanity to the King after he learned his lessons. He later said, “I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom is from generation to generation. All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand, or say to Him, “What have You done?” Our president need to understand that his failed policies may not have been because they are not good but because he alienated God from his governance.
The Church in America must put her axe together this time and pray for Donald Trump. He is a man of flesh like any of us, and only the support of Christians in prayers and constructive counsels will lift him to do God’s will. My faith is absolutely in God that America will be great again. God bless the United States of America.
